How to use this online speaker test
Use the left and right controls to confirm that your speakers or headphones are mapped correctly. The left tone should be clearly isolated to the left channel, while the right tone should be isolated to the right. The stereo control plays the same tone through both channels so it should appear centered between the two sides.
What a channel mismatch means
If the left button plays from the right side, or the channels sound swapped, check your cable orientation, external audio interface and operating-system output configuration. Bluetooth devices and virtual audio drivers can also change channel routing. If both buttons sound identical from a single physical speaker, the selected output may be mono.
Use this before a browser call
